The Ascend Group Purchases Power Source Music
NASHVILLE, TENN – In 1992 Gene and Brenda Higgins started the great non-profit organization CCMA (now referred to as the Inspirational Country Music Association). They also began HMG Nashville, Power Source Magazine and the Power Source Country radio show. They have given their life and heart to these companies, making them their ministries. Through the years Gene, Brenda and their son Jason built a legacy, but now it is time for a new season in their lives. As you all know, Jason was offered a job with the government in a field of great passion to him. For several years Gene and Brenda have wanted to retire. They have prayed for guidance as to who God would use to take this organization of great people to the next level.
It is a Blessing and Honor they were led to The Ascend Group, LLC. On Monday, February 8, 2016 The Ascend Group, LLC, made up of members Ralph and Diane Parten from Sevierville, TN, Russ and Linda Murphy from Spring Hill, TN, Delbert and Sherri Gault from Lubbock, TX, and Stephen and Debbie Rew from Evergreen, CO, accepted that honor. We are all so Blessed that the Lord led us to this decision in our lives.
The Ascend Group, LLC looks forward to working with each one of you. Ralph and Diane have relocated to Nashville to be in the office every day and would like to invite you to stop in. Russ and Linda will be working with the new artists as they come into the company. Delbert and Sherri will be in town often and will work with Ralph on the financial aspects of the company and the development of ICMA. Stephen and Debbie will also be in Nashville often as Debbie will be the Editor-In-Chief of Power Source Magazine. Both will be involved in growth and development of ICMA.
In the next few weeks as we make the transition we will keep you informed as to the structure of the company and ICMA. We are excited to say all the current employees have agreed to stay on board and are looking forward to the new changes.
The Higgins, Gene, Brenda and Jason, have agreed to help us and encourage us as we start this new phase of expanding Inspirational Country Music.
